estimate_on_sky_conditions

paarti.utils.maos_utils.estimate_on_sky_conditions(file, saveto, plot=False)

Function to take in the path to an on-sky .fits file (containing a PSF) and return an estimation of the atmospheric conditions present at the time of on-sky observation. The on-sky filename date and FITS header exposure start/stop times are recorded in UT. The MASS and DIMM contents are recorded in local Hawaiian time (HST), so this function will convert the MASS/DIMM data to UT. Likewise, the CFHT meteogram data is recorded in HST, so that data will be converted as well. The PHTO Hilo data is taken only twice per day, so this data does not need to be searched for the entry closest to the FITS exposure time. Instead, we search the PHTO data for the entries closest to the telescope heights in the MAOS atm config file.
